Merchant Questions
How do merchants sign up for an account?
The process is very easy and only takes a few minutes. We recommend that you have your merchant call us directly at 1-800-989-2135. We will explain the application process to them, answer any questions they may have and walk them through filling in an application.
How long does it take for a new merchant to be approved?
It typically takes less than 48 hours to approve a new merchant and get them up and processing.
Does the merchant have to change banks?
No. The merchant's deposits are routed to their existing bank account.
How long does it take for the merchant to get their funds?
Credit card charges are typically deposited between 24 and 48 hours depending on the time the batch is closed.
What rates will merchants pay?
We offer very competitive rates and try our very best to beat the existing rates the merchant currently pays. All rates are fully disclosed during the application process.
Are there any other setup fees, internet processing fees, support fees?
No. There are no setup fees, no extra charges for internet processing or other support fees. All fees are disclosed during the application process.
Which credit cards can ChargeItPro Process?
ChargeItPro can process all major credit cards including Visa™, MasterCard™, American Express, Discover, and JCB.
What types of accounts can you handle?
ChargeItPro currently can process transactions for Retail, Mail Order/Telephone Order, Internet, and Restaurant accounts.
Can I call for technical support any time?
Yes, technical support is available 24/7.
Who actually processes the credit card transactions?
All credit card transactions are processed through First Data Corporation, one of the largest payment solution providers in the United States.
Do merchants need any special hardware to process transactions?
To qualify for the lowest rates, merchants should have a card swipe that reads track 2 data. A Pinpad is also required to process pin based debit transactions. If you need assistance with hardware, our technical staff can provide you with a suggested hardware list.

I already have a credit card solution. Why should I consider ChargeItPro?
We will treat you as a true partner. We believe we have the best products and services in the industry and we would like to prove it to you. In addition, our ChargeItPro EasyIntegrator API makes integration a snap. Lastly, to stay competitive, it is important to give your customers a choice of credit card solutions.
If I partner with ChargeItPro, what can I expect?
You and your merchants can expect an excellent product experience backed by excellent customer service. Our products, services and support are available to you without any monetary obligations,. We will be there for you 24/7. We will work hand in hand with you on integration and once completed will provide you with marketing support to ensure your success with ChargeItPro.
Do I have to be exclusive with ChargeItPro?
No. We do not require exclusivity. We will work hard to earn your business.
Do merchants have to use the ChargeItPro software?
No. Merchants may use ChargeItPro but we also process transactions on terminals. If your merchant has an existing terminal we will reprogram their terminal at no charge. We can also provide your merchants with a terminal.
Do you provide assistance to help market our integrated ChargeItPro credit card solution?
Yes. We will work with you to provide the marketing assistance you need to be successful with ChargeItPro.
How can I track my merchants and residuals?
When you agree to be our "partner", we will give you access to our ChargeItPro Partner Reporting System. You will be able to track your merchant applications and residuals 7 days a week.
What is the process of integrating my application with ChargeItPro?
Once you are ready to begin integration, we will assign a dedicated integration specialist to work with you . We will provide, at no charge, our ChargeItPro EasyIntegrator API, documentation and source code examples. Easy Integrator API is available in both a .Net DLL and a traditional Win32 OCX. We will also assist with design questions and will help with testing your integrated application.
How long should it take me to integrate ChargeItPro into my application?
EasyIntegrator API makes integration a snap. Integration normally takes between a few hours and several days depending on the types of transactions you wish to support and the depth of integration. During this time our integration specialist will work hand in hand with your developer to ensure a smooth and trouble free experience.
Will we have to update our integration as new credit card devices evolve?
Our philosophy for EasyIntegrator API is that you integrate once and you process forever. Device profiles are stored within ChargeItPro. As new devices are added, they will automatically be available to the end user. As you will see when you work with EasyIntegrator, adding new devices to your application requires no additional coding on your part.
Who installs my customers? Do I have to be involved?
ChargeItPro installation support will happily handle all installations of ChargeItPro. However, if you wish to install your customers, ChargeItPro personnel are available to assist you.
If my customer has a problem can they call ChargeItPro directly?
Yes, absolutely. That decision is entirely up to you. We will gladly act as your first line of support for any credit card related issues. If you choose to handle these calls, ChargeItPro technical support will be there to back you up.
General Questions
Is it safe to process credit card transactions over the Internet?
Yes, all cardholder data is secured by ChargeItPro in compliance with the PCI Data Security standards so you can be confident your business is protected.
Does ChargeItPro require my customers to have a static IP address to process transactions?
No, ChargeItPro does not require static IPs to securely process transactions.
What happens if the Internet connection goes down?
If the Internet connection stops working, ChargeItPro can be configured to automatically detect the failure and move to a dial up modem. No user intervention is required. When the internet comes back up, ChargeItPro will automatically return to internet processing.
Can ChargeItPro be used over wireless networks?
Yes, ChargeItPro can be used on wireless networks. It is important for card holder security that wireless networks be configured in accordance with CIP requirements.
